Delivery

bird of play send all orders within 2-5 business days after payment has been received, as many items are made to order. All orders over $24 are shipped via Express Post, except the jewellery tree which is shipped via registered post. Other items are shipped via standard mail. If you'd like your new treasure more quickly, please let us know when you order or via info[at]abirdofplay.com. We'll do our best to speed things up for you.

At the moment, we only deliver within Australia and the UK. If you'd like your package shipped elsewhere, please contact us at info[at]abirdofplay.com before placing your order.

Payment

We accept all credit and debit card payments through PayPal. You can use a Paypal account if you have one, but you don't need one. Otherwise, simply follow the steps to pay through Paypal, and enter your credit card and billing details when prompted.

Our store uses PayPal for payments because it is so secure. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

Returns

Items which are damaged, faulty or not as described must be reported within 7 days of delivery, via email to info[at]abirdofplay.com. We will provide you with either a refund of the purchase cost and initial postage price, or with a replacement item, depending on what you'd prefer. In some instances, we may require you to return the item before supplying a refund or replacement. Please note however that the cost of returning your item to us is not refundable.

If you change your mind you must also notify us within 7 days of delivery, via email to info[at]abirdofplay.com. We will provide you with a return address. Please return goods in their original condition and packaging, and repack carefully to prevent damage on the return journey. When we receive your returned item in original condition, we will provide you with either a refund of the purchase cost or a credit note, depending on what you'd prefer. Please note however that the initial and return postage costs are not refundable for changes of mind.
